# overlane run decide

Records a question, the decision taken and its evidence under the active run. A person can override it later; continue without waiting for an answer.

## Usage

```sh
overlane run decide --question TEXT --decision TEXT --evidence TEXT... [--task TASK_ID] [--dry-run]
```

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Required | Default | Description |

| `--question` | string | yes |  | The question that came up |
| `--decision` | string | yes |  | What you decided |
| `--evidence` | string (repeatable) | yes |  | A file or command result supporting the decision; repeat for more |
| `--task` | string | no |  | The task it concerns (default: the held task) |
| `--dry-run` | boolean | no |  | Print the requests and file changes this command would make, then stop. Needs no credentials. |

## Behavior

- Effect: `write` (changes local or hosted state).
- Needs credentials: yes. Uses the network: yes.
- Supports `--dry-run`: yes. Accepts `--force`: no.
- Machine-readable description: `overlane schema run decide`.

## Result

With `--json` (the default when stdout is not a terminal) the command prints this JSON Schema's shape on stdout.
