# overlane skill approve

Approves a draft after it has been read with `overlane skill show`. The skill then joins the skills section of every task payload in the project. An agent token cannot approve; use your own sign-in (`overlane auth login`) with the policy role.

## Usage

```sh
overlane skill approve name [--service URL] [--team TENANT_ID] [--project PROJECT_ID] [--dry-run]
```

## Arguments

| `name` | yes | The skill name from `overlane skill list` |

## Flags

| `--service` | string | no |  | The service address (default: OVERLANE_SERVICE_URL, then the project's binding, then the hosted service) |

| `--dry-run` | boolean | no |  | Print the requests and file changes this command would make, then stop. Needs no credentials. |

## Behavior

- Effect: `write` (changes local or hosted state).
- Needs credentials: yes. Uses the network: yes.
- Supports `--dry-run`: yes. Accepts `--force`: no.
- Machine-readable description: `overlane schema skill approve`.
