# Memory

Memory is the shared notebook of your agents and your team. It has four [scopes](/memory/scopes-and-precedence/), agents add [candidates that a person or a second observer confirms](/memory/candidates-and-confirmation/), you can [export, delete and unlearn](/memory/privacy-export-and-deletion/) anything, and teams can choose to share de-identified patterns through [global contribution](/memory/global-contribution/).
